Hi Tanya,
I’m Fredi Markovitz leaving in ISRAEL, a new beginner photgrapher.
I have CANON EOS-450D since 15 months fo home use, and use in it’s several
auto modes.
I had before CANON PowerShot S3 and looked for getting higher, same as you wrote in your site slr…
The camera photo’s impressed me so good, then 2-3 weeks ago I found your site and I must say it knocked me down – I’m looking a while to learn myself or someone to teach me in a very simple way what are all the manual modes and how to use it, without spending too much on traininngs.
your site is the best I found !!!!!
Yesterday I was on a botanic garden and took pictures for the 1st time in manual modes (AV/TV/RAW) after learning from you (how can I send you some photos?)

1. Since I didn’t find such site as yours in Hebrew language, I’m thinking of making
my own web site in Hebrew language, can I take your articles and translate to
Hebrew ?
2. I see now you have CANON EOS 5D-II, why did you decide to replace your
400D, what is the advantage, are the lenses compatible ?

Thanks a lot,
Fredi

Hi Fredi,

You can join my Facebook page over at http://www.facebook.com/pages/SLR-Photography-Guide/132110620137958 and then submit photos for me to see. No you shouldn’t translate my articles for your own Hebrew website, thanks for asking :) It’s always best to write your own. re question 2, I still use my 400D for macro photography. I use the Canon 5D Mark II mostly for landscapes as it offers the full frame sensor. That was the only reason for the switch. Both are very good cameras.

Regards.
Tanya.
